Only green firecrackers will be sold in Bhagalpur: Retailer cracker shopkeepers will get license from today, there was a ruckus outside the SDM office

In Bhagalpur, from today all the firecrackers retail shopkeepers will start getting licenses. The district administration had given instructions for this on the previous day itself. In fact, the sellers were very angry due to not getting the license to sell firecrackers till now. As a result, all the vendors created a lot of ruckus outside the SDM’s office on Friday.

All the vendors expressed their anger against the district administration. Everyone was waiting to get the license. But even just two days before Diwali, when the license was not received, the anger of the shopkeepers broke out. After which hundreds of people reached outside the SDM’s office. After which all the retailer shops were instructed to give license from Saturday.

Outrage among shopkeepers due to delay

Firecracker seller Sunil Kumar said that we were going round for the license for the last 15 days. But not found yet. He said that we should have got the license a week ago. He told that even if the license is given now, he will not be able to earn that much. How many crackers will be sold in two days? Sunil told that we had already got the affidavit made. But its format has changed.

Temporary license will be available from today

Bhagalpur SDM Dhananjay Kumar said that according to the instructions of DM Sir, license will be given to all the retailers from today. For this they have to apply. Along with this, he told that everyone will be given only a temporary license. Also, there is a strict instruction for Bhagalpur that only cable green crackers will be sold here.
