    One killed in Siwan: Lightning fell on bike riders, middle-aged died; second seriously injured

    A middle-aged man died due to lightning on two bike-borne passers-by near Chavar of Shoorveer village of Maharajganj police station area of ​​Siwan district at around 6:00 pm on Tuesday. While the condition of the other remains critical. After the accident, both the bike riders were rushed to Siwan Sadar Hospital. Where the doctors declared the middle-aged dead. After which the relatives of the deceased went to their home with his dead body without conducting post-mortem.

    The deceased has been identified as Birbal Sah, 55, the son of Late Ramsurat Prasad, resident of Doriganj in Chhapra district. While the bike rider who got seriously burnt has been identified as 24-year-old Neeraj Kumar, a resident of Doriganj. In relation to the incident, it is said that Birbal Sah along with his family members had come to a relative’s place in Shoorveer village. Other family members were in the car. While he was returning home by bike with his nephew Neeraj Kumar. In the meantime, the celestial lightning fell on him with a strong thunder near the brave Chavar. After the incident, both the occupants of the bike suffered serious burns.

    It is being told that when the incident happened, the other family members of the bike riding behind the bike took both the seriously injured bike riders to the Siwan Sadar Hospital where the middle-aged Birbal Sah was declared dead by the doctors. After the incident, the relatives of the deceased took him away without conducting a post-mortem. While the treatment of bike driver Neeraj Kumar is going on in a private clinic in Siwan city.

    It is worth noting that it has been raining intermittently for the last 2 days in Siwan. Due to which the life of the people has become disturbed. Commuters are facing a lot of trouble due to water logging on the roads. Rain water has entered the shops of the city.
