The instructions were issued by the Cooperative Department.

Farmers in Banka will now be able to sell paddy through Farmers Product Organization ie FPO. For this, instructions have been issued by the Cooperative Department. Till now farmers used to sell paddy through packs and trade boards at the minimum support price. But now a big change has been made in this. The most important portability facility has been abolished in this. By abolishing it, farmers will no longer be able to sell paddy in any other packs. They have to sell the money within their packs or trade circles.

Till now farmers used to sell their paddy on MSP through any other packs as well. With the end of portability facility, farmers will now be able to sell paddy only in their respective packs or trade circles. Along with this, in the Panchayat where PACS is not active, paddy will be procured through FPO. If there is no FPO then it will be tagged with adjacent packs.

While marking the FPO, its storage capacity etc. will be checked. After this, the proposal will be sent to the department after opening the account of such groups in the local cooperative bank. After this login facility will be given.
