By-elections are going to be held in two assemblies in Bihar. Voting for both the seats, Gopalganj and Mokama, will be held on the same day on November 3. In the elections held in 2020, one seat was with the BJP and one with the RJD. But the by-elections to be held in 2022 and the major change in the situation after that is the ouster of BJP from power. If we look at the track record of these two seats, the chances of victory in Mokama are high for the ruling party in political circles. Despite this, CM Nitish is not going to Mokama.

JDU national president Lalan Singh came to Mokama and campaigned for the elections. The candidates in both the seats are from RJD. But, JDU is not particularly excited about Mokama and Gopalganj. Because of this, a different discussion is starting in the politics of Bihar.

Nitish will not go to Mokama

CM Nitish Kumar’s election campaign schedule has not been decided in Mokama. However, on October 27, CM Nitish was to go to Mokama. There he had to do a road show along with the public meeting. But at the last moment this election campaign was canceled. According to the information received, Nitish Kumar will neither go to Gopalganj nor go to Mokama.

Earlier the discussion was that Nitish Kumar would address a public meeting in Mokama with Tejashwi Yadav today, but this program could not be finalized. Tejashwi Yadav is going to reach Patna from Delhi today but, till now no official information has been shared regarding Nitish Kumar’s program. In such a situation, there is doubt about Nitish’s visit.

Wants to distance himself from Anant Singh or people associated with him

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wants to avoid going to Mokama election campaign. It is obvious that he wants to distance himself from Anant Singh or the people associated with him. For this, he can give a big reason to his health. Recently, Nitish Kumar had a stomach injury. They may have trouble wearing the helicopter belt. In such a situation, he does not want to go to Mokama or Gopalganj.

Both the RJD candidates are tainted. Everyone knows about Anant Singh. The same Gopalganj candidate Mohan Gupta has been a liquor businessman. In such a situation, Nitish Kumar wants to keep himself separate from the election campaign in the assembly by-elections.

    Message hidden for Tejashwi?

In fact, Mokama’s seat has been around Anant Singh in the last four elections. Anant Singh has contested this seat from JDU, Independent and RJD and has won every time. This time also his wife Neelam Devi is the candidate. Whereas in Gopalganj, the last four have been completely occupied by the BJP. Subhash Singh of BJP has won every time. And this time his wife Kusum Devi is the candidate in this by-election being held after the death of Subhash Singh.

Obviously the ruling party will have to work harder on this seat. But till now there is not much interest from CM Nitish or JDU. Now it is also being discussed that CM Nitish is trying to save his credibility by not going to Gopalganj. So that if there is high and low in the election results, the direct blame does not come on CM Nitish.
