Neighbor injured father and son
On Friday in Sheikhpura, in Ambari village of Shekhopur Sarai police station area of the district, informing the family members of the youth’s first wife that a young man had secretly got married for the second time proved costly for his neighbour. Neighbor Balmiki Raut and his son, along with others, thrashed 64-year-old Shambhu Prasad and his son with sticks and rods for informing the relative about this.

Shambhu Prasad and his son were badly injured in the incident. The injured were admitted to Primary Health Center Shekhopur Sarai for treatment by father and son with the help of villagers. After treatment, the injured reached the Shekhopur Sarai police station to complain about the incident, where they urged the police to take action against the miscreants who carried out the incident. In this regard, Station President cum Police Under-Inspector Pramod Kumar said that after receiving a written complaint regarding the incident, the police will take immediate action. The victim told that due to the relatives of the young man knowing about the second marriage, the neighbor carried out the incident. After this incident, tension prevailed between the two sides.
