Negligence: The one who got the job, betrayed the family

It may have been 14 years since the incident of 26/11, but the wounds received in that incident are still fresh. Even today the relatives of the deceased are constantly troubled by the pain of those wounds. On 26/11/2008 six people of Rajauli area were killed in the terrorist attack at Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Among those who died, Mohammad Ilyas Ansari, 50-year-old son of Sahib Ali and nephew Sarfaraz Ansari, resident of Dhaan of Sirdala police station area, Murtaza Ansari and Arif Ansari of Sherpur village, brother-in-law Abbas Ansari and his wife Shakeela Ansari, resident of Mananpur, Rajauli. After the death, the government has given 15 lakh rupees as compensation to their family members and after giving a government job to one member of the family, the pain of the dependents has not reduced even today. Ilyas Ansari’s widow Sakila Khatoon told that after the death of her husband, the government gave a job to brother-in-law Ismail in the railways, but the brother-in-law also turned out to be unfaithful.

Such is the condition of the family
According to the information received, Sakila Khatoon’s father-in-law Mohd. Shahid Ali passed away almost two years ago. And brother-in-law Ismail has taken the burden of Sakila Khatoon’s mother-in-law Zubaida Khatoon. He said that with the amount given by the government, he has married two daughters and built two brick rooms, as well as got the children educated. But still the responsibility of three sons including 13 year old dumb son Faizan Ansari, 23 year old son Ayuv Ansari, 20 year old son Qayum Ansari is on his shoulders. Even though an elder son Ayuv Ansari has gone out to learn private work. Ilyas’s wife Sakila Khatoon is still living in dilapidated houses. Brother-in-law Abbas Ansari, a resident of Mananpur, used to drive a taxi while living in Mumbai.

Arif Ansari, a resident of Sherpur, used to work in a bag making factory in Mumbai. One of the accused in this case, Ajmal Kasab, has been hanged by the court. Zubaida Khatoon, wife of Mohammad Sahid Ali, a resident of Dhan village of Sirdala block, is suffering from the loss of her loved one. Grandson Murtaza, son or daughter Shakeela Khatoon, son-in-law Mohammad Arif and three granddaughters were killed by the terrorists. The whole life of Shahid Ali, wife Zubeda Khatoon and daughter-in-law Sakila Khatoon has become a burden. In the terrorist incident, Shakeela Ansari, Mohd. Abbas, Mohd. Arif were shot dead by terrorists on platform number two of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai.
