Murder of former chief in Arwal: dead body found thrown near godown, deceased was seen till late night in wedding ceremony

Anger is visible among the local people after the incident.

A person was killed near Gulzar Bigha village in Karpi block of Arwal district. After the murder, the body was dumped near the SFC godown. In the morning people around saw the dead body thrown after being murdered, after which the news of the murder spread like fire. The people around reached the spot and started identifying the dead body.

After villagers gathered, the body was identified as Manoj Yadav, 45 years old, former deputy head of Murari Panchayat of Karpi block. After the identification of the deceased, the relatives were informed, after which the relatives informed the police. On the other hand, the police of Karpi police station reached the spot and started investigating the whole matter. According to the information received, the deceased was seen till late night at a wedding ceremony in his village Budhu Bigha. The marriage procession of Bipat Singh’s granddaughter had come from the same village. The deceased was not seen after having food and drink in this marriage ceremony. Here, seeing the anger of the people, Assistant Superintendent of Police Roshan Kumar reached the spot and got involved in the investigation of the whole matter.
