Murder of a young man in Chhapra: Had gone to a birthday party with friends, the family said – criminals killed him by stabbing

In Chhapra, on Wednesday morning, the body of a youth was recovered from the roadside on Siwan Chhapra main road of Rasulpur police station area. Prima facie it appears to be a case of road accident. The youth has been identified as Rakesh Mahato (20 years) father Mahgu Mahato, a resident of Inayatpur of Daudpur police station area. The youth was admitted to Ekma PHC for treatment in an unconscious state. He was declared dead by the doctors. The youth has been identified from the mobile and Aadhaar card found in the packet.

The young man had gone from home with his friend in the name of birthday party. Who did not come home till late night. The death was informed by the police station in the morning. As soon as the death was reported, there was chaos among the family members. At present, the police have taken the body in possession and sent it to Sadar Hospital Chhapra for postmortem.

Relatives told about the same incident that the deceased was taken away by his friend Suraj on the pretext of a birthday party. But after not returning till late night, someone went to search and no clue was found. On Wednesday morning, Rasulpur police station informed about the body being found. The family alleges that Suraj and the boys were stabbed to death by the boys. To mislead the whole matter, the nature of the accident has been given. Suraj is also said to be missing from the house. The relatives of the deceased Rakesh have been accused by Suraj of injuring them by stabbing them in the past as well. At present, the police has started investigating the entire matter on the basis of the application.
