Murder of a sweeper in Bhagalpur: was sleeping in the post office premises, the criminals were beaten to death with a brick

Private sweeper was murdered in Bhagalpur post office premises. Sensation has spread in the area after the body was found on Thursday morning. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Jogsar police station reached the spot and took the body in its possession and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased was identified as 60-year-old Fucho Mandal alias Sajay Mandal, a resident of Mishra Toli of Badi Khanjarpur under Barari police station area. Manju Devi, the wife of the deceased, told that her husband Fucho Mandal used to work for about four years as a private sweeper in the post office located in Jogsar police station area district council office.

He was sleeping on the verandah of the post office on Thursday night. The criminals beat him to death by walking with a brick. Here, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. Police took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.

Fearless criminals murdered a private sweeper and also made his mobile disappear. However, it is not yet clear what led to the murder. Regarding the matter, the police is busy in reaching out to the criminals involved in the murder on the basis of the CDR of the deceased’s mobile.
