As per the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Katihar, on the basis of secret information, a special raiding team was formed under the leadership of City Police Inspector Raghavendra Kumar Singh on the information about the purchase and sale of stolen bikes in Durga Sthan premises of the city police station area. Two thieves, including a Hero Glamor stolen bike, were arrested by the raiding team while selling stolen bikes red-handed from the ground located in Durgasthan courtyard, on which several cases were registered in the city police station in the past. On the basis of the crime confession statement of the arrested accused Kinnu Kumar, raids were conducted at various locations located at Bhediya Rahika, Shamsherganj, Gera Bari, Moosapur and Teja Tola under the Assistant Police Station area.

During the raid, two red and black glamor bikes of Hero Company, one black colored Hero Splendor bike, black and blue colored Hero Passion Pro bike and red colored Hero CD Deluxe bike were recovered. The same 9 Android mobile sets of different companies were also recovered from the arrested accused.

Giving information about this achievement on Friday evening, SP Jitendra Kumar said that in the recent past some motorcycle theft cases had come to light from different places of the district. The Superintendent of Police said that these people steal the bike when a partner gives a line to the bike rider parking in the crowded places in the city when he is reiki in the direction of going. To escape from the police, they take the bike some distance away and park it in an isolated place and when the police activity calms down, they run away with it. Apart from the remote countryside, the said stolen bike is sold in the border area of ​​West Bengal for ₹ 10,000 to ₹ 15,000.

Number plates are also put on the said stolen bike in such a way that after searching on that number on the mobile app, the name of the owner of the bike appears only who is the actual owner of that number.
