Mother-daughter injured in land dispute in Gopalganj: protesting to block the road, daughter’s condition critical

Neighbors beat up mother-daughter for protesting against blocking the road in Sihorwa village of Jadopur police station area in Gopalganj. Both mother and daughter were injured in this incident. At present the condition of the daughter remains critical.

At the same time, both the injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment by other relatives where both are undergoing treatment. The injured were identified as Neelu Kumari, daughter of Harinath Chaurasia and wife Kovali Devi, resident of Sihorwa village of Jadopur police station area.

In fact, in the context of the incident, the injured Kovali Devi told that there was a land dispute going on between her neighbors from the past. His land is being called their land by the neighbors. This morning on Saturday, the neighbors were heard about the previous dispute, after which the matter became calm. But late in the evening the way in which food is eaten.

Neelu Kumari was beaten up with spade’s bat on opposing that road by the neighbors. Kovali, the mother of the injured Neelu Kumari, told that when she went to save her daughter seeing being beaten, she was also beaten up and injured. At present, the treatment of both the injured is going on in Sadar Hospital.
