Smriti said during The Ranveer Show that I had borrowed money from the bank to buy a house. This loan was of 25 to 27 lakh rupees. When I was just about to leave to pay the down payment to buy my house, I remember one day someone came to my set and offered me a paan masala ad and I gave the money to the bank. It was exactly 10 times the amount.

Smriti Irani said that I refused to do the advertisement, then people treated me as if I had gone completely mad. My acquaintances told me are you mad, you need money. Smriti Irani said that I knew that the family was watching me on TV, the youth were watching.
