Here a shopkeeper slapped a female tourist and ran away. The injured woman is crying due to the shopkeeper’s slap, whose video is also going viral.

Shopkeeper ran away from the shop

According to eyewitnesses near Gandhi Chowk, a Tibetan woman approached the shopkeeper to buy a lamja (sheet) to present to Lord Buddha. While buying Lamza, an argument broke out between the shopkeeper and the female tourist regarding the transaction of money. Meanwhile, the shopkeeper slapped the female tourist hard and he left the shop and ran away. After this the woman started crying. Seeing her crying, other tourist women also reached the spot. Started telling the incident that happened with the shopkeeper.

Complaint has not reached the police station

Seeing the crowd on the spot, the lady constable of the traffic police reached the spot. She inquired about the incident from the victim woman and went to the shop of the shopkeeper who had slapped her, but found the shopkeeper missing from the spot. The tourists present on the spot advised the Tibetan woman to go to the Bodh Gaya police station and lodge a complaint. Here, on being asked about the incident at the Bodh Gaya police station, it was told that till now no such complaint has reached the police station, nor has any person or constable informed about the incident.
