Minor stabbed to death in Samastipur: Villagers block Hasanpur-Sakhwa road in protest, demanding arrest of the accused

A minor was stabbed to death in Virpur village under Hasanpur police station area of ​​Samastipur district. The youth has been identified as Sumit Kumar Mahato, 17 years old, son of Vinay Mahato, a homeopathic doctor of the village itself. On the other hand, as soon as the news of the incident spread in the village on Sunday morning, angry people blocked the Hasanpur Sakhwa Path and started shouting slogans against the administration.

Regarding the incident, it has been told that Sumit had left the house for Chowk in the evening. Meanwhile, he was abducted by some miscreants and took him to Gachhi near the village school, where he was stabbed to death at various places. When Sumit did not return home till late night, the people of the house started searching for him. Sumit’s dead body was recovered late night in the said Gachi. As soon as the incident was reported in the morning, the villagers got agitated and people blocked the Hasanpur-Sakhwa road with the dead body near Virpur village. During this, people were demanding immediate arrest of the miscreants. People said that these days criminal incidents have increased a lot in the village. You are not feeling safe. On the information of the incident, Hasanpur police station president Nisha Bharti is trying to pacify the people by reaching the spot with the force. On the other hand, the villagers are demanding to arrest the miscreants first and then end the road blockade.
