RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has launched the “Service Certificate” for the individuals working in private sector establishments, through the Qiwa platform.
The certificate is considered as an official document that can be submitted to the competent authorities to prove work experience in private sector firms.
The workers will be able to present this certificate to other establishments to which they intend to move.
Upon the end of the contractual relationship, the platform will allow workers to obtain the Service Certificate electronically through the individual’s account on Qiwa platform.
Through this procedure, it would greatly enhance and facilitate the workers’ ability to prove their experience.
MHRSD seeks, through Qiwa platform, to strengthen the work environment, increase its stability, and achieve the best global practices via advanced digital solutions by offering more than 130 automated services for the business sector.
The MHRSD, via the Qiwa platform, seeks to provide all labor system services in a digital manner that enhances the preservation of the rights of the parties to the contractual relationship, and raises the stability and attractiveness of the labor market in Saudi Arabia.
