The effect of cold is expected to be even more in entire Bihar. But on Wednesday, Gaya district remained the coldest. Where the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.8 degree Celsius. Earlier, Sabour had become the coldest area in Bhagalpur district. Where 9.0 degree Celsius temperature was recorded.

Apart from this, the minimum temperature was 14.2 in Patna, 11.1 in Banka, 15.6 in Bhagalpur, 14.8 degree Celsius in Purnia. The Meteorological Department says that due to the strong condition of north-westerly wind in the state, the condition of fog is continuous in rural and urban areas.

Decrease in temperature recorded in 15 districts

On Wednesday, there was a drop in the temperature of 15 districts of the state including the capital. It includes Araria, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Sabour, Banka, Saharsa, Supaul, Nalanda, Nawada, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Saran, Muzaffarpur, East Champaran and Siwan districts.

Air pollution is increasing in Patna. Bihar’s Siwan, Buxar, Begusarai and Chhapra were among the six top cities of the country in terms of pollution on Wednesday. The situation in Patna was also serious. Siwan’s AQI level was 460 and Patna’s was 395. The condition is such that now there is a burning sensation in the eyes while going out on the road. The most polluted air is of Rajabazar area. The AQI level 444 has been recorded there. Along with this, the AQI level of Taramandal area was 399, Eco Park 382, ​​Patna City 361, Gandhi Maidan 379 and Danapur 385. According to experts, now there will be relief only when there is rain or strong wind.
