Married woman murdered in Madhubani
Rita Devi, son of Mahendra Yadav, a resident of Bharatpatti village of Kaluahi police station area of Madhubani district, died due to consuming poison. A primary has been registered by Gauri Devi, the mother of the deceased, by giving an application to the Kaluahi police station. In the application given in the police station, it is written that his daughter Rita Kumari was married about 10 years ago to Pintu Yadav, son of Mahendra Yadav, resident of Bharatpatti, with the consent of Hindu customs. Gauri Devi’s daughter Rita Devi was harassed and harassed by her father-in-law Mahendra Yadav, Bhaisur Mintu Yadav, brother-in-law Nibhas Yadav and other members of the house since her marriage.
When the husband of the deceased used to come home from abroad, due to the wrong attitude of the family members, he used to stay at his in-laws’ house in Pilakbar for months and then go back to earn outside. He wrote that his daughter Rita Devi was being harassed by the people of the house continuously for two-three days. The information about which his daughter was constantly giving through the phone. He has written in the application that on Friday, from Bharatpatti village, Pilakbar Gauri Devi was informed by phone that her daughter’s health is very bad and she is undergoing treatment at Madhubani Hospital.
When the mother and family members of the deceased were going for Madhubani, in the same time they met him while going to the tempu in Madhubani itself. When Gauri Devi showed her daughter Rita Kumari to Sadar Hospital, her daughter was in an unconscious state.
Seeing the seriousness of the condition of Rita Devi, the doctor of Sadar Hospital referred DMCH Darbhanga. When Gauri Devi left for DMCH Darbhanga with an ambulance with her family members, she saw her daughter’s condition deteriorating near the Medical College Madhubani, then showed up to consult the doctor of the Medical College Madhubani. Where the medical college doctor confirmed the death of Rita Devi. After the death of Rita Devi, both of her in-laws’ family members, Mahendra Yadav Subhash, left from there.
Gauri Devi, the mother of the deceased, has written in the application that her daughter has been murdered by her in-laws by giving poison. Gauri Devi along with her family members have registered an FIR at Aakar Kaluahi police station and named seven people as accused.
Kaluahi SHO Mrityunjay Kumar said that the information about the incident was received a little late but the investigation has been started after registering an FIR. He said that whoever will be involved in this massacre. They will be sent to jail by taking strictest legal action, no accused will be spared.
