Man commits suicide by consuming poison in Nalanda: Gotia was having a dispute over property, got fed up and ate poison

A middle-aged man committed suicide by consuming poison over a property dispute in Nalanda. The case pertains to Geelani village under the entire police station area. The middle-aged man died in a private clinic late night during treatment. After this, the dead body was brought by the police to Sadar Hospital on Thursday morning for postmortem. The deceased is Bablu Yadav (45) son of Kamo Yadav, a resident of Geelani village.

In the context of the incident, the relatives of the deceased said that there was a dispute going on for many years regarding the distribution of property from Gotia. Often there used to be noises in property disputes. Hurt by this, the middle-aged man consumed poison on Wednesday afternoon. When his health started deteriorating, he was admitted to a private hospital by his relatives for treatment, where he died late night during treatment. After confirming the death, it was informed to the local police station.

SHO Nadeem Akhtar told that the brother-in-law of the deceased has told about suicide by consuming poison. The matter of suicide is being told regarding the distribution of property between the brothers. At present, the police is engaged in the process of conducting the post-mortem by taking possession of the dead body. The application has not yet been received by the next of kin. The police has started investigating the whole matter.
