Talking about the design and look, two colors like Blazing Bronze and Everest White are available in Mahindra Thar 2WD. These colors are in addition to the previously available options which include Red Rage, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Aqua Marine. Apart from the 4×4 badging, the rest of the look remains the same.

In terms of engine and power Mahindra Has introduced a new engine this time. The diesel variant of Mahindra Thar has been given a new D117 CRDe engine with RWD range which generates power of 117 BHP and torque of 300 Nm. However, the petrol variant will get the same 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine that produces 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. It comes only with 6 speed automatic unit. The variant now gets an advanced Electronic Brake Locking Differential. It is best for off-roading lovers who want to have a new experience.
