Lal Bahadur Kumar, 18-year-old son of Arjun Yadav, resident of Gamharia Panchayat, Ward No. 10 under Gamharia police station area of Madhepura, died in a road accident in Jharkhand. On the other hand, as soon as the dead body reached Gamharia, the relatives and villagers started protesting against the administration by blocking the Supaul-Siheshwar main road near Bhagwat Chowk.
Relatives told that in the past, Sushant Kumar, who worked as a trader in Gamharia, had sent Lal Bahadur to Jharkhand as a driver and helper on his truck. Where the road coming from number four in Mirzachowki police station area of Sahibganj, Jharkhand was jammed. Khalasi Lal Bahadur was getting down from the truck to see the jam when another truck BR11L 9432 hit him hard from behind. by which he was injured very seriously. Where the local people hurriedly admitted him to a private clinic. The doctor there declared him dead.
After which the driver accompanying Lal Bahadur informed his boss and the relatives of the deceased. After the post-mortem of the deceased, the dead body was handed over to the relatives. The relatives got a case registered at the Mirzachowki police station. After which the police arrested the truck and driver of BR11L 9432. As soon as the dead body reached Gamharia, the angry villagers started protesting by blocking the road demanding compensation from the truck owner to the family members of the deceased.
Here, as soon as the information about the jam was received, Gamharia Police Station President Triloki Nath Sharma along with his team force reached the spot and inquired about the incident and requested to end the jam, but the fierce villagers remained firm on their insistence on compensation.
However, as soon as the information about the jam was received, Block Chief Shashi Kumar reached the spot and assured the people of proper compensation and ended the jam. Due to this jam which lasted for more than 2 hours, long queues of vehicles started on the main road of Supaul Singheshwar.
