Education Minister Prof. Shamail Ahmed meeting Chandrashekhar

Shamail Ahmed, National President of Private Schools and Children Welfare Association, congratulated the Education Minister of Bihar Government, Prof. Chandrashekhar at the Secretariat and apprised him of the problems of private schools. In this formal meeting, Syed Shamail Ahmed told the Education Minister that by creating e-affiliation portal website by the Education Department of Bihar State, all private schools were compelled to apply for re-affiliation by 31st December 2021. But no type of training was organized at any district level or state level for applying. By organizing training at private level under the banner of Private Schools and Children Welfare Association, online application was made for training private school operators.

DEO rejecting application for personal benefit

Syed Shamail Ahmed told the Education Minister that in almost all the districts of the state, the online applications of many private schools have been canceled by the District Education Officers and it is being said that the photo of the school premises is not clear or trained teachers. The list is not correct. Now in such a situation no such facility is available on the e-affiliation portal that the private school operators can edit their online application. There is also no facility to apply new online on the private school operator e-affiliation portal. When the school directors go to the District Education Officer, they are behaving badly and are asked to leave from there. Private school operators are being forced to take personal benefits by the District Education Officers on the pretext of rejecting the application.

    made these demands

    1. Appropriate arrangements should be made to edit the online application on the e-affiliation portal so that the private school operators whose applications have been canceled by the District Education Officers for personal benefit, can resubmit the same application again. 2. In the past, private schools used to get permanent affiliation, which, under the guise of e-affiliation portal, has been amended without any order by the Education Department for a temporary affiliation of three years. Therefore, please make the affiliation of private schools permanent affiliation as before. 3. The schools which are already approved and they are teaching 25% of the students under the Right to Education, should be given permanent approval without any delay so that the future of the children can be secured. 4. Till now the amount of children studying under Right to Education has not been received. Please try to make it available as soon as possible.
