Liquor worth 2.5 lakh rupees recovered in Buxar: It was hidden in the basement of a three wheeler, was coming from UP to Bihar

The Excise Department team has recovered English liquor worth 2.5 lakh rupees from the basement of a three wheeler from Bihar-UP border in Buxar district at 2 pm on Friday. This action was taken on the basis of secret information. As soon as the three wheeler goods vehicle entered Bihar from Ghazipur district of UP via Karmanasha bridge, it was nabbed. When the driver was strictly interrogated, he told that there is a basement in the vehicle. Which has been tightened with a knot bolt.

The smuggler was the one to give home delivery in Bihar

When the police picked up the cellar of the vehicle, hundreds of pouches of liquor were hidden under it. Inspector Central Prohibition Dilip Kumar Singh, posted at the Excise Department check post made near Karmanasha bridge in Chausa, was told that 785 from the cellar of the vehicle Treta packs and 24 bottles of 750ML each were recovered, which cost around 2.5 lakhs. At the same time, the driver of the smuggler has been identified as Chandan Kumar, a resident of Buxar Baba Nagar, who admitted that he was about to give home delivery in Bihar after buying liquor from UP. At present, the interrogation of the smuggler is going on.
