In Siwan district, consignments of liquor are being continuously brought from UP to Bihar in preparation for the celebrations before Diwali. Police arrested two liquor smugglers with 500 pieces. The arrested liquor smugglers have been identified as Shankar Kumar Gupta, 28-year-old son of Raju Prasad, resident of Laxmipur under Town police station area of the district, and Kanhaiya Gond, 26-year-old son of Bhagwan Gond. Those who got the responsibility of transporting liquor from UP to Bihar. After this, on the basis of a secret information, the police arrested him from Dharni Chhapar check post of Marwa police station area.
