- LIC Agent Assaulted In Patna City, Anti social Elements, Who Went To Ask For The Dues Of Lakshmi Puja, Ransacked, Attacked With Sword And Hockey

In Haji Ganj locality of Patna City Chowk police station, anti-social elements barged into the LIC agent’s office on Wednesday and vandalized and beat them up to demand the outstanding donations of Lakshmi Puja. It is being told that anti-social elements entered the office and attacked them with hockey sticks and swords. Seven people present in the office were badly injured in this attack.
On getting information, the police reached the spot and started investigation. It is being told that the entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera. Chowk police station in-charge Gaurishankar Gupta said that the matter is being investigated.
It is being told about the incident that on Wednesday evening, 20 to 25 youths of Haji Ganj entered the office of LIC agent Shashikant Shukla to demand the outstanding donation of Lakshmi Puja. At that time Shashikant was in discussions with some of his LIC agents. It is being told that Shashikant gave ₹ 200 as donation to those people but the anti-social elements present there forcibly got hold of the insistence for donating ₹ 5000. When Shashikant refused to donate ₹5000, the anti-social elements attacked them with hockey sticks and swords.
Seven people including Shashikant Shukla, Omprakash and Vishal Kumar were injured in this attack. The local people informed the Patna City Chowk police station. Chowk police station in-charge Gaurishankar Gupta said that after investigation at the spot, they have started searching for the youths seeking donations. They have started scanning the CCTV cameras around the spot.
