He said that it should be allowed to the public to decide what they want to see. He said that the Tamil Nadu government has given a very baseless reason for canceling the show.
The film The Kerala Story, which released on 5 May, remains controversial due to its content. At the same time, cinema halls in Tamil Nadu stopped the screening of the film citing poor box office collections. On which BJP leader Khushboo Sundar has expressed her opposition by tweeting.
Khushboo Sundar, a member of the National Commission for Women, tweeted that she is surprised that those who are opposing The Kerala Story. What are they afraid of? The truth was told openly or the fear of realizing that unknowingly and silently being a part of the truth for years. Let these people decide what they want to see. You cannot make these decisions for others. At the same time, the Tamil Nadu government has given incomplete reasons for canceling the show.
In fact, Tamil Nadu Theater and Multiplex Owners Association President T Subranyam told that the film The Kerala Story was released by pan India multiplexes, but the film could not make a good collection. Also decided to stop its screening due to protests and threats regarding the film.
