Lalu’s first message has come from Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore after kidney transplant. Daughter Misa Bharti has shared this from her Twitter account. In this, Lalu is saying that he is feeling good. Lalu Yadav has thanked people from ICU after kidney transplant. He said that all of you prayed for me, now I am feeling better. In a low voice, Lalu greeted people for their prayers.
Daughter Misa Bharti has shared Lalu Prasad’s video message. Misa wrote- Your prayers only boosted father’s morale, made him feel better! Today Papa has said many thanks to all of you!

The condition of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and his daughter Rohini Acharya is still fine. The rooms of both are adjacent to each other in the hospital. He stayed on the line overnight. Doctors are constantly monitoring him to ensure that his sodium and potassium levels are under control.
Let us tell you that on Monday, Lalu Yadav’s kidney was transplanted at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. This kidney has been donated by his second daughter Rohini Acharya.
Normal food only after two-three days
Nephrologist Dr. Pankaj Hans of Ban Hospital says that after kidney transplant, the movement of the stomach stops, so the patient has to be kept on saline in the initial time. After that, light food has to be given after 24 or 48 hours depending on the condition. Normal food is given only after two-three days. After the operation, the patient has a lot of urine. Two to three liters of urine is passed every hour. That’s why a lot of saline has to be given.
Misa told that Papa was getting emotional remembering Rohini.
When there is a situation to drink water, then five to six liters of water will have to be drunk throughout the day. Lalu Prasad’s Kritni level was 5 before the operation, now when it decreases to 1.2 or 1.3 then it will be considered normal. If the kidney becomes normal, Lalu Prasad will have to increase the protein in the food a lot. Means pulses, soyabean, egg, chicken etc. will have to be eaten more.
Lalu is admitted in ICU after the operation.
Lalu is most worried about Rohini
Lalu Prasad has faced many storms in his life. From politics to health. They do not panic even in adverse circumstances. Before going for the operation, he assured his wife Rabri Devi, daughter Misa Bharti, son Tejashwi Yadav that everything will be fine, nothing to worry about.
After the operation, when he came out of the OT, he greeted everyone by shaking hands and said- All is well! The meaning of his asking was clear that he was worried about daughter Rohini. Actually Lalu Prasad was not ready for Rohini Acharya to donate kidney to him. He loves Rohini very much.
But when it was found in all the investigations that Rohini’s kidney would be donated to Lalu Prasad, it would be fine, both of their blood groups are also AB positive, then Rohini was adamant that she would donate the same kidney. In front of Rohini’s stubbornness, Lalu’s father did not work.
Now Lalu Prasad is living a new life with Rohini’s kidney. Rohini had tweeted before going to OT- ‘Ready to rock and roll, wish me a good luck’. Rohini told that she is a brave daughter of a brave father. Rohini had also convinced her husband and in-laws for her father.
Lalu kept smiling remembering old things
Lalu Prasad’s elder daughter Dr. Misa Bharti told on social media that ‘I got permission to meet father for some time in ICU. Everyone in the family was concerned for Papa and Rohini’s well being, so it was a very emotional moment to meet Papa after the operation.
Papa asked about Rohini’s well being. Then, while speaking slowly, he started saying old things. Papa was smiling slowly while telling some old story to everyone. This quality of forgetting the pain and focusing on positive things separates him from all of us.

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s kidney transplant was successful on Monday in a hospital in Singapore. This operation went on for 1 hour. His daughter Rohini donated a kidney to Lalu. Rohini was operated before Lalu. Currently both are in ICU. The video of Lalu Yadav shaking hands has been shared by his elder daughter Misa Bharti.
