The mining officer of Kishanganj district has been blamed. Mining officer Bina Kumari, who has been accused of corruption, has been removed from her post and directed to contribute to the headquarters.

The ballast laden truck was seized by the police of Galgalia police station in the district on May 20 this year during vehicle check, but the truck was abandoned by Bina Kumari, whose complaint was made by Thakurganj resident Abhay Kumar to District Magistrate Shrikant Shastri. After which the District Magistrate Shri Kant Shastri took cognizance of the matter and got the allegations investigated and the matter was found to be correct.
