On the other hand, Bajrang Dal Hindustan has announced a bandh in Abohar district on Saturday. Abohar’s private school organization Rasa has also declared Saturday a holiday in schools.
People were furious after the killing of Suri, a Hindu leader who was protesting in front of Gopal Mandir in Amritsar. They ransacked nearby shops and the glass of a car was also broken. Shiv Sainiks raised slogans of Khalistan Murdabad. The police reached the spot and sealed the area. Suri’s son has demanded martyr status for his father. They say that till the martyr status is not given, they will not perform the last rites.
Hindu leader’s allegation – getting threats from foreign numbers
Hindu leaders in Mohali were contacted by the police after Suri’s murder. Visited their residential and offices and met. Along with this, he was appealed not to go anywhere alone. SSSP Viveksheel Soni said that there are full security arrangements in the area. Deployment of paramilitary force in the state
