Journalist shot by criminals in Patna
In Patna’s Bihta, criminals gunned down a daily newspaper journalist in Amhara village late on Monday night. The journalist has been admitted to a hospital for treatment in critical condition where his condition remains critical. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started checking the CCTV camera.
It is being told about the incident that Ravi Shankar Singh, a journalist of a daily newspaper, 45 years old, was returning from a birthday party to his home on a motorcycle. In this sequence, the criminals who were ambushed from the east fired 5 bullets at them near IIT. After carrying out the incident, the criminals fled on a motorcycle waving their weapons. As soon as the information of the incident was received, people from the surrounding gathered on the spot and admitted the injured journalist Ravi Shankar Singh to NSIT for treatment where his condition remains critical. On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot late in the night and started investigation.
Bihta police station in-charge Ranjit Kumar said that the cause of the incident is yet to be revealed. He said that one bullet hit the journalist and he has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Villagers told that journalist Ravi Kumar was returning home from a birthday party late on Monday night, in this sequence the criminals have carried out the incident. There has been a sensation in the entire area after the incident. The police are continuously conducting raids in search of criminals.
