Gorakhpur News: The condition of wells located in Gorakhpur and neighboring districts will improve. This improvement will be possible with the Government of India’s app Jaldoot. Water problem will be solved. Through this app, the water level of the wells located in the villages will be detected. Wells were earlier the main source of daily routine of the common man. Gradually the time kept changing and the condition of the wells kept getting worse. Most of the wells have been sealed and the water level of the remaining ones has gone down considerably. Now Gram Rozgar Sevaks posted in villages will upload water level on Jaldoot app before and after monsoon. Correction work will be done accordingly.
What is Jaldoot App?
This app, developed by the Ministry of Rural Development, will detect the water level of the wells.
The Jaldoot app will enable the Gram Rozgar Sahayak to measure the water level of selected wells twice a year (pre-monsoon and post-monsoon). With this, the water level in the village or city will be known. This will provide correct data to the Panchayats. This data can be used as part of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme exercise.
