Intensive investigation campaign in many trains in Samastipur: Investigation regarding Deepawali and Chhath, arrived with dog squad in many trains including Rajdhani

In view of the crowd gathering in trains for Diwali and Chhath in Samastipur, RPF personnel along with dog squad checked more than half a dozen trains including Rajdhani Express passing through Samastipur station late on Sunday evening.

Police personnel checked the baggage of the passenger in all the bogies of Rajdhani Express going from Dibrugarh to New Delhi. However, no objectionable material was found during this period. Apart from this, the police team carried out investigation operations with sniffer dogs in various trains including Gangasagar Express, Jaynagar Patliputra Intercity Express, Freedom Fighter Express.

Apart from this, the baggage of the passenger was also checked above various platforms. RPF Jamadars Ajay Kumar, Shashikant Tiwari, Rajiv Kumar Yadav etc. were present during the investigation operation. RPF Inspector BP Verma said that in view of Mahaparv Chhath, high alert has been put in the entire division, with security considerations, trains are being checked with sniffer dogs. Especially the trains coming and going from the state are being monitored.
