    Water Resources Minister and Sanwer MLA Tulsi Ram Silavat took a meeting of electricity officials in Indore on Thursday. He said that power supply should be done with quality as per the rules of the government. Minister Silavat said that new 33/11 KV grids are being built in Imlikheda, Rajoda, Pidway in the area, their work should be completed on time and with quality, so that consumers can get benefit on time.

    Minister Tulsi Silavat asked to get necessary work done in time in new settlements in towns and villages. Minister Silavat said that the bill should be error-free, if any mistake comes to the fore, it should be resolved on time.

    In the meeting, Minister Tulsi Silavat said that if the supply is disrupted due to the weather, inform the affected people on time and the responsible engineers should maintain continuous communication with the consumers. There were no complaints about the phone being switched off or not picking up. Even if the pole is broken or dilapidated, cable, conductor and transformer are damaged, they should be replaced on time, so that the trouble is minimized. In this meeting, Indore Rural Superintending Engineer Dr. DN Sharma told that there is a provision of 10 hours supply to the agricultural class consumers and 24 hours to all the rest. There is also an in-charge at all the distribution centers for redressal of grievances, their monitoring is done continuously. Calls are also made on random basis for customer satisfaction, so that timely feedback is available. Executive Engineer Abhishek Ranjan, RK Rajalwal along with about fifteen engineers as well as other employees were present in the meeting.

     

    Complaints kept coming up

    Complaints were coming in the state’s financial capital Indore regarding frequent power cuts, after which Minister Tulsiram Silavat held a meeting with the officials and gave necessary guidelines to the officials. Along with this, Minister Tulsi Silavat made it clear that electricity supply should not be affected due to bad weather or other reasons, for this the electricity department should complete its preparations beforehand. Overall, the action mode of Minister Tulsi Silavat has been seen once again, where he has given an ultimatum to the officials to improve the power supply.
