    Indian police freed from Nepal’s custody

    The Indian police who were held in Nepal were freed on Thursday evening. Actually, the Indian police team that went to interrogate a jewelery businessman was attacked 5 days ago in Navalpur of Malangwa police station area, Sarlahi district headquarters of Nepal. In which a Saif jawan of Sonbarsa police station of Sitamarhi district, Deendayal Thakur was first caught and thrashed by the people.

    Nepali citizens created ruckus to send them to jail

    After which he was handed over to the local police station. Nepalese citizens also created ruckus demanding that the captured Saif jawan be sent to jail. From road jam to vandalism was also done. Although the officials of both the countries made mutual coordination, then after the paper process, Saif Jawan was freed.

    It was informed that after investigation of the matter at the local level, the matter has been settled on the mutual coordination and initiative of the administrative officers of both the countries. After which the detained jawan has been freed from Malangwa police station on Thursday evening.

    In this regard, DSP Vijay Kumar Yadav of Sarlahi district of the neighboring country Nepal told that Saif Jawan of Sonbarsa police station has been released. The official said that some social media of Nepal tried to blow up the matter by prominently making the video viral regarding the incident.

    Police has started investigating those social media people who wanted to disturb the peace by making the video of Navalpur incident viral. The officer said that if found guilty in the investigation, administrative action will be taken against those who made the video viral.
