The DGP himself had ordered the investigation
The DGP took cognizance of the matter after the Bihar Police was harassed by the SHO and SSP for violating the prohibition law in Gaya. After this, the DGP ordered an inquiry into the entire matter. During the investigation, the allegation was found to be completely true, after which the Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anjani Kumar Singh had registered a case against former SSP of Gaya Aditya Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, a former Thanedar of Fatehpur, in Fatehpur itself. Even after the DGP himself ordered the investigation and the report related to the confirmation of the allegations in the investigation came to him, the DGP put full emphasis in saving IPS Aditya Kumar.
Caught in the web of cyber criminals, the DGP made the IPS spotless. This is a big question for the DGP, because even after the confirmation of the investigation report of such accused IPS, raining relief is also making the DGP tainted from somewhere.
