The immersion of the idol of Maa Durga established in Munger for Navratri continues for the second day. About two dozen idols of Maa Durga and Maa Kali of Jamalpur are being immersed alternately at Sojhi Ghat on the banks of the Ganges after covering a distance of 12 km since late night. During the same idol immersion, a huge crowd of devotees gathered on the streets.

There were also many such sculptures, which have also been depicted on the criminal incidents happening in Bihar. Here, every activity is being monitored by the magistrate and police through the control room set up by the district administration regarding idol immersion.

Every step of the way for immersion is being monitored through CCTV cameras. During the same idol immersion, the immersion of all the idols is being done methodically by the Central Statue Immersion Committee at Bhagat Singh Chowk in the city.
