A husband who killed his wife for dowry in Aurangabad has been sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by the court. This decision was given by District Judge Rajneesh Kumar Srivastava while hearing the decision in Muffsil police station case number 191/19. Convicted husband Nitish Kumar is a resident of Karhara village of Mufassil police station area. The accused has been sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment after being found guilty under Section 304B.

Public Prosecutor Pushkar Aggarwal told that the accused husband is in jail since 16 October 2019. On 22 August 2019, he killed his wife Ranju Devi for dowry. Advocate Satish Kumar Snehi told that the FIR was lodged by Nandu Yadav, a resident of Murarpur of Dhibra police station, uncle of the deceased. In which it was said that they got married in May 2018 with great fanfare by giving two lakh cash, gold chains, farewell items.

After which the husband killed the woman on 22 August 2019. At the same time, keeping the body in Sadar Hospital, he absconded with the whole family, after which the information was given to the police by the family members. After which police action was started. The husband was arrested and sent to jail on August 16, 2019, after which the accused husband is lodged in jail.
