ISRO has completed preparations for the launch of Chandrayaan-3. It will be launched today at 2.35 pm. Scientists are also keeping an eye on the weather. The forecast so far says that the weather will not affect the launch, but it may disappoint the spectators.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) team is closely monitoring the weather forecast for Harikota. According to him, light to moderate rain with heavy falls at isolated places is predicted over the Coastal Andhra region. More importantly, the sky at Satish Dhawan Space Center will be cloudy around 2:30 pm today.

According to IMD, the launch is not expected to be affected due to weather. People going there to watch the launch may be disappointed due to low visibility in the sky. Although it can be captured with a high resolution camera.

Will be launched from GSLV Mark 3

Chandrayaan-3 will be sent into space by the GSLV Mark (LVM) 3 heavy lift launch vehicle from the Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota. It has a lander and a rover. It will make a soft landing on the Moon after 45-50 days.

 

Will study the South Pole

Chandrayaan-1 had made many revelations about the moon, in which the most important things were about the South Pole there. Water drops were found there. Chandrayaan-2 was launched to pursue this study, but that mission was unsuccessful. His lander had crashed. In such a situation, the hope now rests on Chandrayaan-3.

According to ISRO Chief S Somnath, scientists have learned a lot from the previous mistake. This time changes have been made in the vehicle and the lander. Its software has also been updated. Even if there is a fault, it will make a successful landing.
