In view of increasing outbreak of cold, Janseva Express and Purbiya Express passing through Begusarai will be canceled for three months from the month of December. Even before this, more than half a dozen trains passing through Begusarai have already been canceled due to cold. Now 14618 Amritsar to Banmankhi Janseva Express has been canceled from next 1st December to 2nd March. The same 14617 Janseva Express running from Banmankhi to Amritsar has been canceled from 3 December to 28 February.
Along with this, 15279 Purbiya Express going from Saharsa to Anand Vihar Terminal has been canceled from 1st December to 26th February and 15280 Purbiya Express going from Anand Vihar Terminal to Saharsa has been canceled from 2nd December to 27th February. In fact, the Railways has announced the complete cancellation of both these trains for the next three months due to foggy operations during winter.
Let us tell you that in the midst of the outbreak of Corona virus, the operation of Janseva Express was stalled for more than 2 years. A few months back this year, the operations of Janseva Express started earlier. Janseva Express has facility for working class people to travel till Amritsar in unreserved coaches. Due to which laborers were able to travel in Janseva Express from Saharsa and Kosi area to Amritsar in less money. In such a situation, due to the cancellation of public service for three months, difficult situations will come in front of the passengers traveling in low budget. The General Secretary of East Central Railway Passengers Union, Rajeev Kumar told that in the cold time, Railways takes such decisions many times from the point of view of safety and security. But railways should also take care of passenger convenience.
