G-20 meeting to be held in Bihar on March 6-7: G-20 delegates will gather in Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda, preparations begin

India is presiding over the G-20 this time and there will be 200 different meetings in India regarding this G-20. In these meetings, meetings have also been organized in Bihar. The Bihar government is preparing for the G-20. This meeting will be held on March 6 and March 7, 2023 in Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda in Bihar. In which representatives of the countries involved in G-20 will participate. Vandana Preyashi, Principal Secretary, Art & Culture Department has been made its nodal officer.

Although it has started sitting. But, Bihar has been given time in the month of March. G-20 is also called Group of Twenty. It is an informal grouping of the European Union and 19 countries. Its leaders gather every year at the G-20 summit to discuss how to move the global economy forward. It was formed in the year 1999. Also it is a ministerial forum that was formed by the G7 with the cooperation of both developed and developing economies.

The biggest thing about this platform is that every year the top leaders of many countries of the world meet each other in the summit, as well as this year India is presiding over the G-20. G-20 consists of 19 countries. These countries include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK, USA and the European Union.
