Former Law Minister appeared in Danapur Court: Kartikeya Singh had arrived today to fill bail bond, High Court has already given bail

Former Bihar Law Minister Kartikeya Singh reached Danapur Court today to fill bail bond with First Class Judicial Magistrate. Earlier, Kartikeya Singh alias Master Saheb has got anticipatory bail from Patna High Court. After this, today Kartikeya Singh had reached the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Ajay Kumar of Danapur Civil Court to fill the bail bond.

RJD leader and former law minister of Bihar government Kartik Singh alias Master Saheb is accused of involvement in the kidnapping of Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Raju Singh of Bihta in 2014. A case was registered in Bihta police station under case number 859/2014 regarding this. Presently the matter is pending with Danapur Magistrate First Class. On November 14, 2014, Raju Singh’s nephew Sachin Kumar lodged a report at Bihta police station. In the information, Sachin Kumar had told the police that his uncle Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Raju Singh had been abducted by miscreants who came in five different vehicles. In the report, Mokama MLA Anant Singh, Bantu Singh and 16 others were accused of kidnapping.

Due to this matter, the post of minister was lost.

After this matter came to light, Karthik Kumar, who was part of the Grand Alliance government, had to resign from the post of Law Minister. However, earlier Karthik Singh’s ministry was changed after he got embroiled in a warrant controversy regarding the kidnapping case. But, after this he submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Actually, the day he had to surrender in court in a kidnapping case. On the same day he reached the Raj Bhavan and took oath as a minister. Because of this, he had to resign from his ministerial post. Karthik Singh is said to be very special to former Mokama MLA Anant Singh.
