Fog cover in Samastipur, trains also late: visibility increased to 15 feet, chances of further increase after Christmas

When people woke up in Samastipur district on Thursday, a thick blanket of fog was visible. During this the visibility was around 15 feet. Amidst the thick fog, people felt Kankani. On the other hand, train services are also being affected due to the accident.

Down line trains Bihar Sampark Kranti Express, Swatantrata Senani Express, Amarnath Express are running late by 1 to 2 hours. People who caught the train in the morning had to reach the station amidst fog. On the other hand, the child going to school in the morning also had to go to school amidst fog.

Rajendra Agricultural University Meteorological Department’s scientist Dr. Gulab Singh told that the situation will be normal for the next two-three days. However, after Christmas i.e. after December 26, the chill will increase. A drop in day and night temperatures will be recorded. The night temperature is expected to be between 7 to 9 degrees. While the day temperature can remain 18 to 22 degrees. During this, westerly wind can blow at a speed of 4 to 8 km.
