Half a dozen prisoners were injured in this accident, who have been admitted to the jail hospital for treatment. It is being told about the incident that on Thursday afternoon, a game of cricket was going on in the jail ground between Saraswati Khand and Yamuna Khand. It is being told that jail inmate Bittu Singh was batting and Vibhor Kumar was bowling. Ravindra Kumar was umpiring this match.

Ravindra Kumar declared him out after Bittu Singh was dismissed during the game. Bittu Singh got angry on this and he refused to be dismissed, due to which a fight started between Bittu Singh and Vibhor Singh with bed bat. Meanwhile, other prisoners who were playing the match gathered there and a fight started between them all. It is being told that Shivam Singh, Nishant Kumar, Vishu Kumar, Tausif Badshah, Sonu Kumar, Bittu Singh, Shubhankar Singh, Gajendra Sharma, Mohammad Shamshad, Thakur Navrang Singh were playing cricket among themselves in the game of cricket.
