In Sitamarhi, even before the varmala, the groom fled leaving the mandap. After which there was a stir on both sides. Actually, there was a lot of uproar during the marriage and there was a fierce fight between the boy and the girl side. Angered by the fight, the groom left the marriage and returned to his home.
It is said that there was a dispute between Baraati and some local youths regarding taking photographs during Varmala. Instead of solving the matter, it got complicated and it came to a fight. The video of this fight has also surfaced, in which both sides are seen throwing chairs at each other. After this, the bridegroom left from there with the procession.
This case pertains to Bhasar Machha village of Nagar police station area. Where on December 8, Chandni Kumari, daughter of Pramod Singh, resident of Bhasar Machha, was to be married to Guddu Kumar, son of Prakash Mahato, resident of Sahiyara police station area, Ghogharaha. The marriage was on the verge of breaking up after the assault. The groom had reached the police station with some people to complain about the matter. The police investigated the matter, after convincing both the parties, they got married in the police station itself.
The wedding took place in the police station premises.
There was a dispute about taking photographs
Local Umesh Kumar Singh told that the bride and groom were on the stage for Vayamala. The bride was performing aarti, during which there was a dispute between the baraati side and some youths of the village about taking photographs. By the time people could pacify it, people from both sides clashed with each other and started fighting.
After which the wedding procession including the boy returned from the door. On the other hand, the next day the people of the girl’s side reached the boy’s house and talked about getting the marriage done. People from both the sides got ready and got busy in finding a new date.
The groom reached the police station to complain
Umesh told that after the settlement, the groom Guddu Kumar and other family members reached the city police station to register the primary of the assault. On getting the information of which the people of the village including the girl’s father Pramod Singh reached the police station. Where the police, after listening to both the sides, were asked to reconcile the two and get them married. Late in the evening, both of them got married with customs in the Shiva temple located in the police station premises.
