patna: – Banta Mazdoor Union protested fiercely on Saturday at the Employees State Insurance Hospital located in Phulwari Sharif. The workers of the union roamed from OPD to all the departments and shouted slogans against the hospital management. Due to this demonstration, the patients who came here for treatment had to face a lot of problems. Seeing the demonstration, many officials of the hospital ran away from their office room. Later the union gave its written complaint to the medical management.
It is said that on Saturday, on behalf of the Banta Mazdoor Union, the people of the union demonstrated fiercely at the Employees State Insurance Hospital of Phulwari Sharif regarding their many demands. Suddenly, seeing the slogans of Zindabad Murdabad being raised in the hospital premises, an atmosphere of panic was created among the patients who had come there for treatment. Many employees and officials of the hospital ran away leaving the patient who had come for treatment to his condition. Many office bearers came out of their chambers and went to other places. During the conversation, the employees of the Banta Mazdoor Union told that for many months they have been demanding facilities in the State Insurance Hospital. Even after this, the facility of the hospital remains from bad to worse.
The employees alleged that the patients coming here for treatment are facing a lot of problems. From OPD to X-ray and medicine distribution, patients are facing a lot of trouble. Not only this, he also alleged that the condition of many patients becomes critical due to non-availability of ambulance on time. He demanded this several times, yet his demands were not accepted.
Distressed by all this, on Saturday, they demonstrated fiercely in the Employees State Insurance Hospital premises. He said that if his demands were not met soon, he would disrupt the work of the entire hospital. Regarding this matter, Medical Manager of Employees’ State Insurance Hospital, Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that on the demand of the employees, a letter has been written to the higher officials of the department. As soon as the goods are made available by the officials on their demand, their problem will be solved.
