Fierce fire at Srinagar Chowk in Purnia: 50 lakh gutted in no time, three fire engines brought under control

In Purnia, there was panic on Monday after a fire broke out in a Pat godown. In no time, both the godown and the shed started burning. People tried to control the fire themselves. But when the fire could not be controlled, people informed the fire department about the incident. As soon as the information was received, three fire tenders reached the spot. The fire was brought under control after a lot of effort. The incident took place near Srinagar Chowk under Mufassil police station area.

It is being told that the godown belongs to Surendra Bhagat. The price of about 50 lakhs was equal in two godowns. Two godowns were locked. People saw that smoke started coming out from inside the godown. By the time people understood something, both the godown and the gate started blazing with fire. The godown owners also reached as soon as the information was received. Seeing the fire, the owner of the godown lost his senses. It is being told that the fire in the godown was caused by a shirt-circuit.

It is being told that many businessmen in Purnia have kept their leaves locked in the godown. But no arrangements have been made for the security of the party. Even before this, there has been an incident of fire in several godowns located in Gulab Bagh. There too, it was reported that the shirt-circuit caught fire. Some people say that the businessmen get the insurance of the first part done. After that, it is said that the shirt-short will start a fire.
