Fierce fire at Patna’s Kebab Mahal restaurant: Fire broke out due to short circuit, workers pulled out people eating food

A sudden fire broke out at Kabab Mahal restaurant on Kankarbagh Main Road late on Thursday night. The fire spread in no time. By the time the fire engine arrived, the fire had also engulfed a shop named Silk, located next to the restaurant.

The fire spread rapidly due to false ceiling, cylinders, wooden items and other inflammable materials in the restaurant. About a dozen people were having food at the time of the incident. Some were waiting for their orders. The personnel working in the kitchen and other staff of the restaurant greeted the customers.

Pulled out. The fire spread quickly and engulfed a nearby clothing store called Silk. However, till then the fire brigade reached the spot and saved Aditya Vijan from coming in the grip of fire.

A restaurant worker told that some of the staff were working in the kitchen. Then the pipe of the cylinder caught fire. By the time the workers there could understand something, the fire started spreading. Everyone ran out. The fire engine had not even arrived when a cylinder blasted and the fire spread. Kishor, a handcart driver working in a restaurant, said that the fire spread due to the explosion of the cylinder. Vivek, who was having food, said that the fire became so terrible that we ran from there falling down.

3 cylinder blast, people remained in panic for 4 hours

Several cylinders were kept in the kitchen. One by one the cylinders started blasting. Due to cylinder blast, the fire spread rapidly and the situation became alarming. Three cylinders blasted one by one. Due to the high flame of the fire, the pipe and other items of the adjacent Jagjivan Plaza were damaged.

Due to the blast of the cylinder, the lead of many windows of the apartment burst. Due to continuous cylinder blasts, the people around were in panic for four hours. The residents of the apartment allege that earlier there used to be a road where the restaurant is open. There has been a fire here before as well. The state of panic was such that people of 525 flats sat on the road for hours.
