Fagging started in urban area to prevent dengue: spraying of medicine in city council wards, garbage lifting in two shifts in market area

Banka: The case of dengue is continuously coming to the fore in the district. In view of this, the health department has become alert and the city council administration is also taking care of cleanliness. The garbage is being lifted in two shifts in the main market and the surrounding area. Wherever there is a problem of water logging, it is also being removed. Fagging work is being done at a rapid pace in the wards.

City Council Chairman Santosh Kumar Singh said that some cases of dengue have been reported in the urban area. In view of this, the drug is being sprayed by the Municipal Council Banka. They themselves are inspecting for better fogging in the urban area. Dengue usually larva of dengue mosquito breeds around Jama water, to avoid this, spraying of medicine is being done everyday. Flogging has been arranged in all the wards of the city council. There is no carelessness in cleanliness either.

City Council Chairman Santosh Kumar Singh said that the work of blowing the drains has almost been completed. Despite this, wherever there is a problem of drainage, it is being rectified. For the last 20 days, a special campaign for cleanliness is being run on the occasion of Chhath and Deepawali festival.
