Excise Department arrested 83 people

In Saharsa, the Excise Department team has arrested a total of 83 people on Thursday, in which 73 are drinkers and 10 are liquor traders. It may be noted that the Saharsa Excise Police is continuously arresting drunkards and businessmen these days, but is proving unsuccessful in recovering liquor. There are hundreds of such places under 10 blocks of the district where illegal liquor and country liquor business is being operated, whose information is sent by sources, but the liquor traders are not deterred.

On the other hand, Excise Superintendent Rajkishore Prasad told a press conference on Thursday at around 4 pm that on the instructions of KK Pathak, Chief Secretary of Prohibition Department, raids were conducted by the police of Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura Excise Department, in which 73 people were caught drinking alcohol. There were 10 liquor traders who have been arrested.
