    In ward number 13 of Ghonghepur panchayat of Mahishi block of Saharsa district, more than two dozen houses have been engulfed in the Kosi river due to erosion. People are forced to migrate.     Regarding this erosion, villager Sikandar Yadav told that due to the erosion of Kosi river, our house is being absorbed into the river. Our house falls in Ghonghepur Ward No. 13. Where dozens of houses are being absorbed in the Koshi river for two or three days. He also said that now we do not see any other solution other than migration from here. At the same time, the local administration and the district administration are not taking any concrete measures and neither is helping. We are facing a lot of trouble.

    On the other hand, the zonal officer of Mahishi block said that anti-erosion work is also being done in the area. Relief material is also being given by the district administration. And for all the displaced people, complete arrangements are being made by the district administration.
