Engineering college will be inaugurated on October 14: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate, construction was done at a cost of 75 crores

On October 14, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the newly built Government Engineering College, Samastipur in the land of Shri Ram Janaki Math located in Narghoghi of Sarai Ranjan block of Samastipur district. For which administrative preparations are being done in full swing. For the arrival of the Chief Minister, the construction work of administrative officers, helipad etc. is going on. After the inauguration of the college, the Chief Minister will also address the gathering in the High School premises.

Let us inform that the foundation stone of this college built at a cost of 75 crores was laid by the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar in a virtual manner on 16 September 2020. The agency also completed this work on its stipulated time.

This engineering college is spread over nine acres. With its commissioning, 100 students will get admission in this college. Apart from this, there is also a provision of high level hostel. The specialty of this college is that the system of enrollment was started here since its inception.

3rd session of college starts

The third semester has just started in this college. Presently the students here are studying in MIT Muzaffarpur. It is likely that in the next month the enrolled children will be shifted to this college. This college is situated in a picturesque rural area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Equipped with modern technical facilities, this college will prove to be a milestone in the field of technical education of Samastipur.
